Towage approvals of tunnel elements

Bureau Vogtschmidt has gained wide experience in towage approvals of tunnel elements. Up till May 2008 we approved more than 35 tow transports of tunnel elements via inland water ways and over sea. Recently we approved 6 tunnel elements for the towage from Hanøytangen – West Side Norway to Oslo over sea (BJORVIKA TUNNEL). The previous tunnel transports we approved where the WIJKER TUNNEL in Amsterdam, CALAND TUNNEL in Rotterdam and the HSL TUNNEL.Beside the tunnel elements we approved a number of transports of concrete caissons over sea. One of them was the bridge pillar caissons of the famous Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam.
